New Swiss Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) and Notarial Practice

In a recent legal analysis, notaries Francesco Naef and Gilles Benedick examined the new Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) and highlighted a significant discrepancy between the three language versions of the law, concluding that the German wording (“reine Beurkundung”) best reflects the intent of the law.
